Architects Recognised With PAM Gold Medal 2019

Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) has conferred the PAM Gold Medal 2019 to three of its members at The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 6th July 2019, as part of the Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) 2019.
The recipients of the PAM Gold Medal for Design Excellence are Prof Ar Laurence Loh Kwong Yu, and Prof Dr Ar Jimmy Lim Cheok Siang from Penang. Past PAM President, Datuk Ar. Tan Pei Ing, was also conferred the inaugural Gold Medal for Service to the Profession.
The PAM Gold Medal for Design Excellence is the highest honour awarded by PAM to its corporate members in recognition of design excellence in a body of work resulting in the advancement of architecture.
The PAM Gold Medal for Service to the Profession was introduced this year to honour a member or member architects for their distinguished lifetime commitment, services and contributions to PAM and to the Architecture profession in the areas of leadership, mentorship, advocacy, protection, and enhancement of both the built environment and the natural environment.
Award recipients are also recognised for their long service and contributions that have provided value to the profession and PAM as the national institute for architects and architecture.
