Hartabumi.com has launched the Hi Home Property Conference 2019 at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur on 25th July 2019, officiated by the Minister of Housing and Local Government, YB Pn Hajjah Zuraida Kamaruddin and the minister of Youth and Sports, YB Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.
Homebuyers can now pick and select properties to purchase based on their income affordability through the Hi Home property portal. Interested buyers are able to qualify and identify available options based on location, type of property, property prices, and most importantly, their ability to finance said property.
“This is the first portal in Malaysia that combines both the latest fintech and big data technology to qualify properties based on home buyers’ financial ability,” said Radzi Tajuddin, CEO of Hartabumi.com
During the opening keynote speeches, both ministers are pushing for more home ownership amongst youths and the B40 group.
“If we are able to improve the lives of the B40 group, it will have long lasting effects that can propel the Malaysian economy,” said Zuraida.
“At the moment, the average income of young Malaysians is about RM4,000. Access to affordable housing is not easy. There are many challenges, blocked accesses. But thankfully we are still better than Singapore and Hong Kong, where it is harder to secure home ownership,” said Syed Saddiq.
