Developer Platinum Victory is calling for submissions for its Paint The Town Green Award, that calls for participants to conceptualise a sustainable and creative design focusing on three aspects: interior design, landscaping and architecture; including designs for wall mural, public and social spaces, and restaurant façade (interior and exterior).
The winning designs will be used for its 7.4-acre lakefront commercial and social space, The Palette in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.
“We are using the Paint The Town Green Award and The Palette as a platform for this initiative, as we foresee it will be patronised by people from all walks of life. We hope each one of them will take back that sense of ownership as guardians of their respective communities and spread the awareness on sustainability,” said Gan Yee Hin, Executive Director of Platinum Victory.
The competition is open to all nationalities in Malaysia who are 18 years old and above for a chance to walk home with a total of RM23,000 cash and vouchers up for grabs. Participants can choose to submit their conceptual drawing entry as an individual or up to five participants in a group.
“As a home-grown developer, we are glad to play a modest role in providing a meaningful ‘palette’ for designs which promotes sustainability. Hopefully in the long run, it will also set a precedent for fellow industry players to adapt similar concepts in their business Development,” Gan said.
