Sime Darby Property’s latest brand campaign defines the City of Elmina’s key features designed to promote an enriched and balanced lifestyle, showcasing Klang Valley’s flagship wellness destination.

ARA DAMANSARA, 6 April 2017 – Sime Darby Property will be launching its latest brand campaign, The Architects of Elmina, on Friday 7 April 2017, featuring a different approach to design by featuring prominent thought leaders who represent the different aspects of wellness incorporated into The City of Elmina township.

The Architects of Elmina brand campaign is aimed at amplifying Sime Darby Property’s story of developing sustainable communities and celebrating healthy and balanced living at the City of Elmina. The township embraces eight pillars of wellness far beyond eco-friendly initiatives covering social, environmental, intellectual, family, occupational, physical, emotional and spiritual.

In conjunction with the campaign, a brand film featuring the township and its tangible wellness features will be launched simultaneously on Sime Darby Property’s digital platforms on Facebook, Youtube and digital ad networks.

The film will portray the amalgamation of the township’s eight pillars of wellness into five key representations: Community Wellness, Mental Wellness, Physical Wellness, Family Wellness and Environmental Wellness.

Sime Darby Property is working closely alongside six wellness ambassadors, dubbed The Architects of Elmina, to convey the message on City of Elmina’s wellness pillars. The ambassadors include Amy Tan, Co-Founder of Permaculture Perak (Community Architect), Atilia Haron, Founder of YogaOneThatIWant Studios (Mental Architect), Dzaeman Dzulkifli, Executive Director of the Tropical Rainforest Conservation and Research Centre (Environmental Architect), Triathletes Jessen Lee and Sue Teoh (Physical Architects) and Marissa Parry, Co-founder of PurelyB (Family Architect).

Sime Darby Property Managing Director, Dato’ Jauhari Hamidi said, “Sime Darby Property aspires to establish the City of Elmina as a township that reflects total wellness, making it the ideal township for residence and retreat. At the same time, we also believe that it is the community that makes the wellness agenda stronger, by practicing a way of life that mirrors the township’s belief in wellness living.

“The Architects of Elmina are real storytellers and thought leaders in their respective fields. The campaign aspires to communicate to the masses that the wellness elements in the township are not merely concepts on paper, but actual offerings created in consultation with real people who aspire to live the best life they can. Through these architects, we hope to inspire the residents to live the best life in a township that makes it possible.”

As part of the campaign, Sime Darby Property will consecutively organise wellness themed events and activities throughout the month of April – June 2017. Among activities planned are the Power of Wellness Weekend, which will include a series of talks on wellness topics by the Architects and side activities such as yoga sessions, healthy cooking demonstrations and many more.

The City of Elmina is a 5,000-acre freehold township development by Sime Darby Property Berhad and the combination of various townships of Denai Alam, Bukit Subang, Elmina East and Elmina West.

Strategically located along the Guthrie Corridor Expressway to the west of Kuala Lumpur, it is the catalyst for growth in Selangor Vision City and the most significant development in the corridor. Sime Darby Property’s aim is to ensure that City of Elmina offers the right concepts, products and pricing, to meet the current expectations of consumers. Ultimately, Sime Darby Property aspires to position the township as a world-class city underpinned by sustainability, wellness and liveability.

A distinctive feature in the City of Elmina is a 300-acre central park, essentially an extension of an existing 2,700-acre forest reserve. This 300-acre parkland will be the foundation for other amenities and facilities such as the only dedicated 90 kilometre cycling and jogging track in a Klang Valley township. It will also feature the Elmina Living Heritage Park, a reforestation project to protect endangered tree species and further enhance the environment for residents and visitors.

The City of Elmina will also feature a wellness cluster, a specially designed one-stop area dedicated towards complimentary, curative, rehabilitative and preventive healthcare. The safety and security of residents are also top priorities, planned from the design stage.
