Mah Sing’s Savanna Executive Suites Hits The Roof!

Southville City, Bangi – Mah Sing Group Berhad (Mah Sing) held a topping-up ceremony for Savanna Executive Suites, today. Savanna Executive Suites is the first development in Mah Sing’s Southville City to have a topping up ceremony, which symbolises the completion of the development’s structure.
In attendance during the event was Mah Sing’s Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum, Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Ho Hon Sang, senior management of Mah Sing as well as consultants and contractors which are involved in the development of the project.
Savanna is at average 95% completion with external painting works in progress. Mah Sing will be delivering vacant possession (VP) commencing September this year.
Southville City A Lush and Vibrant Township Only 19km from Kuala Lumpur
Southville City is a freehold masterplanned development with a gross development value (GDV) of RM11.1billion. The township spans 428 acres and half of the land will be developed as a green space which will support Southville City’s green and sustainable community. All precincts in Southville City will be gated and guarded and the development itself will have lush greenery as part of its landscape features.
A feature that adds great appeal to Southville City is its direct interchange into the KL-Seremban Highway. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum shared that Southville City will be a vibrant township once the direct interchange in fully completed in December 2017. “Southville City is an ideal location for those who are looking to own a home close to the city. One of the reasons we acquired the land for Southville City is because it was located next to the KL-Seremban Highway. We wanted to value add to our buyers and built the direct interchange into the KL-Seremban Highway, which will shorten the distance to Kuala Lumpur to just 19km.”
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Hum further added, “It is one of the few projects in the area with a direct interchange into the KL-Seremban Highway. Southville City’s direct interchange is currently 50% completed and on track to be ready by December this year. Once it is completed, you will see Southville City truly come to life.”
In addition to the direct interchange, the entire Southville City development is beginning to take shape. The balance of the infrastructure work is currently at 95% completion.
Southville City has successfully seen the launch of 3 phases to date. These developments include Savanna Executive Suites and the Boulevard Shops (Phase 1), Avens Residence (Phase 2) and Cerrado Residential Suites Tower A and Tower B (Phase 3). The entire Southville City is scheduled to be fully completed in the next 10 years and expected to accommodate a community of almost 69,000 people.
Savanna Executive Suites Marks Completion of First Phase of Southville City
Savanna Executive Suites is part of the first phase of Mah Sing’s masterplanned Southville City. The development comprises 8 blocks of 28 and 30-storey towers with a total of 3,192 units of serviced apartments. Savanna has 3 built ups which are 956 square (sq) feet (ft) 960 sq ft and 1,017 sq ft, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and each unit comes with 2 car park bays. Savanna is 98% taken up.
The development also comprises Savanna Lifestyle Shops which are 208 units of 20’x 75’ 2 level shop units with built ups from 2,643 sq ft.
In line with the Group’s tagline to ‘Reinvent Spaces. Enhance Life’, Savanna has a host of modern lifestyle facilities which aim to enhance the lives of its residents. Its podium facilities floor on Level 5 includes a yoga deck, swimming pool, wading pool, aqua gym, children’s playground, BBQ area, reflexology path, gymnasium and dining pavilion.
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum commented that “We put significant thought into the type of facilities and botanical features of Savanna. We want the residents who stay here feel that they invested in a home they can live in for many years. This is one of the ways Mah Sing aim to enhance the lives of our customers. We plan out our projects to have good facilities and connectivity which will add value to the development and be appreciated by the residents.”
The podium level follows an ‘Oasisland’ concept and has a total of 18 different species of trees and shrubs (4 species of trees and 14 species of shrubs) which enhances the beauty of the development as well as provide a green sanctuary for its residents.
The maze garden is a unique feature designed for children to play in the labyrinth walking path yet the short length of the trees allow parents to keep a close eye on their children. The choice of shrubs fit into a garden concept as there are many recognisable plant species such as Basil, Orange Jasmine, Fragrant Pandan, and Daun Kanduk that are located on the podium floor.
Security is an important element for any development and Savanna’s has a multi-tier key card access security system to ensure the safety of its residents.
Boulevard Shops and Avens Residence On Track For VP
In addition to Savanna, Avens Residence and Boulevard Shops and are both on scheduled for VP in June and September respectively.
Avens Residence comprises 112 units of 2 ½ storey links homes and 84 units of 3-storey link homes. The development is currently at 99% completion. Avens Residence is 99% taken up and the first VP is scheduled from June this year.
The Boulevard Shops comprise 4 blocks of 25’x70’ 3 storey building with a total of 28 units and built ups from 4,407 sq ft. It is fully completed and adopts a build then sell concept. The developed will be heading for VP in September this year and ready for immediate occupancy.
