Skyworld #bid4good Benefits Old Folks

City developer, SkyWorld Development Group (SkyWorld) has identified two old folk’s homes as recipients of the funds raised from the innovative corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign #Bid4Good. Joy Garden Semenyih is the first recipient and the team has organised a visit to the home on last Saturday.

This visit is an opportunity for the team to volunteer and contribute to social works. As a community developer, SkyWorld aims to transform the city to a better place by providing a sustainable Sky Living experience and #Bid4Good is a charity drive to uplift the community by transforming the lives of the underprivileged society.

“In SkyWorld, our focus is to transform the city into a better place and to transform the lives of the community. We have managed to raise RM20,000 from the public through our #Bid4Good campaign and we have pledged to match RM20,000 to reach out to more underprivilegedsociety. Joy Garden is the first home to benefit from this and we hope these fund can assist them in their daily operation like rental, utility bills and other necessities,said Andy Leong Chain Hong, Chief Financial Officer of SkyWorld.

Besides handing over the mock cheque of RM20,000 and other donation items, SkyWorld Team has also organised a dinner at the nearby restaurant. Old folks of Joy Garden and orphansfrom House of Joy were treated to a full course dinner and an assortment of mooncakes and pomelo.
