SKYWORLD CELEBRATES TWO MILESTONES

• Successful Topping Off ceremony to mark the early completion of Ascenda Restdences (Phase 1 of SkyArena integrated city development)
• Announcement of new 1-km flyover and upgrading of 2-km trunk road to a 100-feet four-lane carriageway leading to and from SkyArena

24 October 2016 (Setapak) – SkyWorld Development Group (“SkyWorld”) celebrated two more milestones today. Ascenda Residence, Phase 1 of SkyArena, saw a successful Topping Off ceremony and this project will be completed three months ahead of schedule. To add more good news for the buyers, investors and the Setapak communities at large, SkyWorld together w·1th Kuala Lumpur City Hall (“DBKL”) announced major upgrading infrastructure to and from the SkyArena development and Setapak areas.

Present during the event, YB Dato’ Ahmad Fauzi Bin Zahari , Setiawangsa Member of Parliament (“MP”) commented on the potential of Setapak, “Setapak is a well-known suburb, just 15 minutes from the KLCC. It IS popular with the National Zoo Negara, a favourite place for the locals and students studying at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College or the nearby University Technology Malays1a as well as the Columbia Hospital. With 1ts strategic location, Setapak is truly a gem in the making and SkyWorld will transform Setapak to be the next pulse featuring its modern designer towers and unique multi-story state-of-the-art sports facilities.”

When asked, YBhg Datuk HJ Mohd Najib, Executive Director (Planning), DBKL and Datuk Ng Thien Phing, Founder & Group MD of SkyWorld both agreed with YB Dato’ Ahmad Fauzi’s statement, “We see the great potential of Setapak. With the new infrastructure expansion plan – addition of the new 1-km flyover from Jalan Genting Kelang into Jalan Ayer Jerneh and the 100-feet road widening initiatives along Jalan Ayer Jerneh- this will definitely improve the traffiC flow and provide the Setapak community easier access to the DUKE Highway”.

Its first phase known as Ascenda Residence received very good respond and to-date, it has recorded an impress ive 95% takeup. Today marks another successful milestone for SkyWorld as we celebrate the early completion of Ascenda infrastructure with this Topping Off ceremony. ”
